I won't lie when I signed up for mixed materials I wasn't expecting mask making, however, I have enjoyed this Skills Passport the most!!

So far I have made three masks.

This first one was made out of plasterzone and varaform and resembled an insect-like structure. I molded it with heat from a hairdryer believe it or not.

  • My second mask was made out of worbla, I chose to do a creepy skeleton smile, again I heated this with a hairdryer. Who needs heat guns!!?

My third mask was a plague mask, this is the practice which is made out of cardboard. In my next session I will be making it again but out of plasterzone, which will be a lot harder I can imagine.
